Though Chennai Express is a hit but critics does not approve it to be a deserving movie with counting of some mistakes in it. Chennai express is announced to be a hit and has broken all the records of collection in just 3 days of its opening. 5 mistakes of Chennai Express can be listed as:

1. 40% of the dialogues in the movie are in Tamil Language which is an abrupt to the NON-TAMIL audience, though DEEPIKA inthe movie talks with Shahrukh in Tamil style hindi but the conversation with her family are in TAMIL, which makes the audience to guess what Deepika is trying to say.
2. The first half of the movie is quick and interesting but the second part of the movie makes the story bulky which makes it very down and a slow story run.
3. The movie does not follow the typical Rohi Shetty style that we can imagine why, but just like other movies of Rohit this movie does not have a comic action climax, though Chennai Express lost all its comic in the END.
4. Climax of the movie is somehow similar to just other movies of South Indian Cinema, in which Hero fights with the bunch of people first getting injured and after that he stands and wins the fight, it is a very old story.
5. Deepika in the film plays her character very well but the superstar SRK who was supposed to play a role of a common man, looks like a superstar , which makes the character look larger than life that was not matching with script.
